Interaction of ultrasonic waves with damage by exploiting the transmission of digital data using guided waves: application to smart vehicle
Résumé
This work aims to compromise between Structural Health Monitoring and information transmission through solid channels mainly for the application of smart vehicles. The purpose of such idea is to transmit digital data of a sensor without using any wires in one hand, and, inspecting defects in many essential components such as the drive shaft in the other hand. Realizing this target will follow traditional communication protocol based on digital modulation and demodulation techniques. Accomplishing this target will provide lots of benefits in smart vehicle application by preventing any catastrophic failure in the structure and assure optimal operating conditions.
