Tunable filter design for IR hyperspectral imaging

Résumé

The use of wide-angle Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) for hyperspectral imaging is considered: the diffraction efficiency is calculated around a usual diffraction plane for two degrees of freedom (azimuthal and transverse angle). The efficiency evolution is also examined over a wide wavelength band. The diffraction efficiency is determined as a function of the incident angles and the results are commented. The spectral bandwidth is also studied.
