Creating an IdHAL

The idHAL is used for authentication by the author of a publication in HAL. It's a unique identifier attributed to an author who signed in to HAL.

Prerequisites :

Benefits :

  • Grouping the various entries of an author's name and so avoiding mistakes due to duplicates, namesakes or typos ;
  • Creating a list of the author's publications in HAL ;
  • Linking the author's IdHAL to his other identifiers (ORCID, arXivID, ResearcherID, etc.), his own webpages (blog, research journal) and his social network (Academia, ResearchGate, Linkedin, etc.).

To create your IdHAL, click on the « My space / My profile » tab.
Please note that once saved, your IdHAL cannot be modified.

Creating your CV from a list of your publications

A HAL CV enables you to create automatically a list of publications deposited in HAL.

Prerequisites :

The CV is a webpage consisting of widgets (for use at the researcher's discretion) : picture, list of co-authors, list of key-words, years of production, journals, subjects, other identifiers, social networks, metrics, publication exports, etc.
Bonus : you can link your HAL CV to your personal webpage.

To create your CV, click on the « my space/my CV » tab.
