Digital Twin: an approach to design more ethical autonomous systems

Résumé

The arrival of autonomous intelligent systems (eg., CPS) evolving in an open, uncontrolled environment that will interact with humans throughout their life cycle, and especially during their use leads to a new kind of issue related to the study of their possible ethical or non ethical behavior. This presentation aims to raise the awareness of researchers working on such autonomous systems on that topic. The use of a digital twin is suggested as a way to study the ethical impact of decisions.
