Interaction Between a Jet and a Turbulent Boundary Layer : Experimental Setup
Résumé
Fluidic actuators are at the heart of active flow control. To implement an efficient flow control strategy, it is critical to have a good understanding of how fluidic actuators interact with the flow, especially with the incoming boundary layer. This paper presents an experimental investigation of the interaction between a turbulent boundary layer and four types of jets (continuous, pulsed, synthetic, and sweeping). Dynamic analyses are done using hot wire measurements with the conditional approach.
