Experiment based on participative ergonomics and performed as part of a supervision engineers' training course
Résumé
The design of supervision graphics ought to be based in all cases on strict and participatory
ergonomic approaches. The truth of what happens is quite different; it has been shown today
that many designers, whose activity is based on technical aspects, often neglect certain human
factors which are nevertheless considered to be extremely important in design. In this article,
we describe a teaching approach for an engineers’ course, based on a role play in which we
put potential future designers into a work situation. The data resulting from this approach is
described and discussed.
