A Novel Nonlinear Sliding Mode Control Scheme for PMSG Based on Wind Energy Conversion System

Résumé

A robust controller is designed for variable speed wind turbine (VSWT) driven permanent magnetic synchronous generator (PMSG). This technique is based on novel nonlinear sliding mode control to enhance the performance of the power maximization. The suggested controller is employed to track the generator speed and stator current references. The stability analysis of the proposed controller is proved by using Lyapunov function. The performance of the suggested controller is compared with the traditional sliding mode controller (SMC) by simulations to verify its effectiveness.
